Advancing Equine Welfare on the Isle of Man

Our trustees work closely with organisations such as the ManxSPCA, the British Horse Society, and the Police when welfare concerns are reported. In many cases we aim to work constructively with owners to resolve issues and improve the wellbeing of the animal before taking further action.

Where necessary, IHAPA provides care and rehabilitation for equines that can no longer remain with their owners, with the aim of placing them into suitable foster homes once they are ready.

If you are interested in supporting the charity, by fostering an equine or assisting the committee, please visit our Contact Us page.
